Student Government | Upper School Student Council | Middle School Government Lower School Leadership | Honor Council Lower School Leadership![]()
The goal of the Lower School Leadership Council is to build leadership skills and school and community spirit in grades 3, 4, and 5. Each grade has a 12 week term on the council where the students will have the opportunity to lead the afternoon meetings, sell Friday snacks, build fund-raising skills, and complete a community service project. A portion of the students' guidance class is dedicated to discussing traits needed to develop leadership skills as well as ways that they can make a difference in the world, whether that "world" is the classroom, family, their community, or even the entire planet. Each grade level will work on a service project of their choice during their term. The students also supply and sell the Friday healthy snacks which grades 3 – 5 may purchase at break time. The monies raised have been distributed for many local and national projects such as the Humane Society, Child Abuse Prevention Association, Greensburg Tornado Fund, and transportation to the SCISA music festival for our students. |
