Student Council

The Middle School Student Council offers students leadership opportunities as a mechanism for community service and appropriate social behavior. Each year, an election committee reviews and revises the election procedures and then conducts an election. Currently the Hilton Head Preparatory School’s Middle School Student Council consists of a president, vice president, secretary, treasurer, and an historian. Two grade level representatives are chosen at the beginning of each school year. At each grade level and across the Middle School, students participate in community service throughout the school year. The Middle School Student Council frequently organizes donation drives and service opportunities. Monthly social activities are also a part of the yearly program where students learn the nuances of interacting with their contemporaries in a social setting.
