Upper School Student Council

The Upper School Student Council Association consists of the Executive Board (President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer of the Student Body) and two class representatives at the freshman, sophomore and senior levels. Juniors have a third representative who is primarily responsible for Prom planning. All Student Council members are self-nominated and are elected by ballot by their peers. Most Upper School student-centered activities fall under the aegis of the Student Council, including Spirit Week, Homecoming, and Field Day. We also plan all dances throughout the year. Each year, Student Council elects to have one fund-raiser and participate in some group community service activity. In the past, we have collected goods for Deep Well and sold shamrocks for Muscular Dystrophy. In addition, Student Council is always visible as student helpers on parent night, new student orientation day, eighth grade orientation night, and at any other school event at which we might lend a helping hand or represent Prep's Upper School students in a positive way.
