Cheerleading

Cheerleading at Prep is a long standing tradition from the days of Sea Pines Academy and May River Academy. Historically strictly a varsity football cheerleading squad, the team began cheering for varsity girls and boys basketball in 2006. The team performs stunts and dances, in addition to sideline cheers as well as leads pep rallys and other spirit events.

Kati Ford - Varsity Cheerleading Coach

Mrs. Ford graduated from Georgia Southern University with a degree in Elementary Education and has her Masters Degree in Reading and Literacy from Walden University. She came to Prep in 2006 as assistant Varsity Cheerleading Coach and took over the program as Head Coach in 2007. As a high school student, Mrs. Ford was a member of both the dance team and the cheerleading squad. She teaches Kindergarten and has a son named Mack.

Christina Vanderstine - Assistant Coach
