Hilton Head Preparatory School’s Festival of Trees (FOT’s) is one of Hilton Head Island’s largest holiday-themed festivals, running from November 16, 2017 through November 30, 2017. Over 1,000 people attend this event each year. The 2017 Festival of Trees will once again be held at the Sonesta Resort, located at 130 Shipyard Drive, in Shipyard Plantation. The trees, a spectacular display of beautifully and creatively-themed Christmas trees in all sizes and colors, are sponsored and decorated by local organizations, businesses, and individuals. Themes range from the traditional to the whimsical to the humorous. In addition to the trees, we will feature wreaths, centerpieces, garland, and baskets. During the festival, all trees and wreaths will be on display in the spacious Sonesta lobby. During the 14-day display, attendees will have the opportunity to purchase the trees with all proceeds to benefit the Hilton Head Preparatory School Tuition Assistance Program for local students. There will also be local performances and visits from Santa Claus during the event. Please call Nadine Mooers, Director of the Annual Fund and Events at 843-715-8536 or nmooers@hhprep.org for more information, and for the schedule of events during FOT. Special sponsorships also exist. Please contact Nadine if you would like more information.
