Policies
Accelerated ReaderAccelerated Reader QuizzesBeginning in first grade, students are encouraged to take computerized quizzes on books that they have read. Depending on the length and complexity of the books and the number of correct answers given, students can earn points. Recognition is given as students reach the milestones of 25, 50, 100, 200 or more points. At the end of each school year, the top readers are invited to a luncheon hosted by Dr. Groesbeck and the fifth grader with the highest point total is awarded the Amber McElhaney Award at graduation. |
