Honors and Advanced Placement
An Honors Program is available in grades 8-12. Students participating in the Honors Program must maintain academic averages of 90 or higher. Advanced Placement courses are offered most years in: English Literature, English Language, United States History, Government, Calculus AB, Statistics, Biology, Physics B, Physics C, Chemistry, Spanish Language, French Language, and Studio Art.
Standardized Testing
Students at Hilton Head Prep sit for the following national examinations:
- Comprehensive Testing Program (grades 1-8)
- Explore (grades 5,6)
- Duke TIP (grades 7,8)
- PLAN (grade 9)
- PSAT (grades 10, 11)
- ACT (grades 10-12)
- SAT I (grades 11, 12)
- SAT II (grades (10-12)
- Advanced Placement (grades 10-12)
Prep is a test site for all administrations of both the SAT and ACT throughout the school year.
