Prep comes up big against Beaufort's Holy Trinity

Playing without starting guard Ashley Brothers, the Dolphins earned a great team win against visiting Holy Trinity.  Led by 8th grade standout Lila Roberts, the Dolphins were ahead 18-3 at the half.  Roberts went 2 for 2 from behind the arc and 2 for 2 from the stripe.  Harper Hedden took command in the 3rd quarter and added 6 to put the Dolphins in the driver's seat.  The Dolphins' defense proved to be too tough, as only one player from Holy Trinity scored all 12 points.  All Dolphins got court time, and 6th grader Caroline Risher quickly became a crowd favorite as she swished a 3-pointer in the 4th quarter.  The Lady Dolphins shot 100% from three-point land (3 for 3!!!), which is pretty much unheard of in Beaufort county middle school girls basketball.  Roberts had 12, Hedden added 8, M. Risher had 6, Moe added 2 and C. Risher had 3.  The Dolphins have a home rematch against Thomas Heyward on Thursday, and they play crosstown turned Bluffton Rival, HHCA, on Friday.
