Live-Streamed Halloween Parade!

We still want to continue with the traditional Halloween Parade, but there will be a few changes this year. Since we will still have to maintain social distancing and we cannot have a gathering of parents, we will live-stream the parade for parents to watch. We also cannot have senior Pooh Pals with the kindergarten students. We will plan something special virtually with the seniors and kindergarten students.
On Friday, October 30, students will come to school with their Halloween costumes. DHEC requires masks to be worn with costumes so students cannot wear a Halloween mask. Students will be permitted to leave costumes on all day. We are planning to provide treats for the students along the Halloween parade path. Prep’s Parents Association will provide a photo booth so we can take pictures with students in their costumes. Those pictures will be sent home. Teachers will contact homeroom parents about items for a class party. Those items can be dropped off outside on the contactless cart or the students can bring them into their classroom.
