The Hilton Head Preparatory School Athletic Hall of Fame was created in 2007 to honor athletes from Hilton Head Prep, and founding schools May River Academy and Sea Pines Academy, who made significant contributions both on and off the playing field. Hilton Head Prep recognizes the impact they had not only on the athletic program but on our school’s history as well. Thirty-three athletes have been inducted to date.

The key to the success of Hilton Head Prep’s athletic program is the emphasis placed on the development of character, self-discipline and responsibility through the experience of success and failure. Learning how to set and strive for individual and team goals, as well as the value of hard work and determination, are essential lessons our students carry with them through life. Selection is based on outstanding athletic accomplishments, dedication and loyalty to Hilton Head Prep, contribution to Hilton Head Prep's athletic story and adherence to the highest standard of conduct and character.

Members of the Hall of Fame represent decades of athletic success and are memorialized on the Athletic Hall of Fame display in the Joseph B. Fraser, Jr. Field House. Nominations may be sent anytime for future consideration, but candidates must be at least five years removed from graduation of Hilton Head Prep. Eligible sports are football, basketball, volleyball, tennis, golf, baseball, cross-country, soccer and cheer leading.

Please email Athletic Director, Eric Mathisen, if you wish to nominate someone to Prep's Hall of Fame.
