A fiery St. Gregory squad gets beat by the Prep Dolphins

St. Gregory, who lost to the Dolphins in early season action (7-16) was back and ready for a rematch.  The Dolphins were down 2-8 at the end of the first quarter, however the Dolphins fought back and by halftime the score was 10-12, St. Greg.  Merritt Risher scored 4 of her 6 points in the 3rd quarter and (new to basketball) 8th grader Riley Wilbert came up huge with a late game elbow jumper with about 4 minutes left.  In the end, the Dolphins outpaced St. Gregory the Great 22-16.  Lila Roberts, Harper Hedden, Merritt Risher all led the Dolphins with 6, and Ava Zeoli and Riley Wilbert both chipped in 2.
