Heathwood Hall played host to a thrilling South Carolina Independent School Association (SCISA) high school cross country meet on October 28th, where the atmosphere was electric, and the competition fierce. Shannon Forest's Thomas Wamser dominated the race, securing first place with a remarkable time of 16:27.18. The team, combining efforts with Tucker Shealy and others, placed third in the team standings.
Spartanburg Christian, led by Mason Burgess and Camden Teel, put on an excellent performance, finishing second as a team. Burgess secured second place individually with a time of 16:41.88.

Hilton Head Preparatory School brought their A-game, with the runners giving their all despite the challenging competition. The Hilton Head Prep team, notably led by Charlie Hardwick, Tarquinn LaValley, Matthew Moe-Leer, JP Pirky, Levi Wright, Isaiah Cozza, and Luke Levensaler displayed exceptional talent and determination, finishing strong with a 10th-place team ranking.
The Hilton Head Christian Academy's Max Leroux and Ashton Tolerton showcased their skills, making the school proud with their notable performances.
